Well, let's name some 2025 favorites:
Stray Children is a video game about maintaining your humanity as you grow up. And about helping others reclaim their humanity. I love it.
One Battle After Another is a movie about losing to evil and figuring out how to move on. I love it.
Shadow Ticket is a book about living in a world where fascism is rising all around you, but no one is really doing anything about it. I maybe don't love it, maybe I do, I don't know still wrestling with it, I just finished it on Monday. Weird and confusing and complicated book. My first time reading anything by Mr. Pynchon.
Resonance is a cool album by Bill Fox. I don't listen to lyrics that well but at least a couple songs are about this capitalist hell we're in.
