mission: impossible - the final reckoning  or: how i learned to stop missing Ethan Hunt's beautiful shirt and love the submarine

Hello sorry I haven't posted for a while. I've been strapped to an imax chair watching Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning every day all day. Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning does a lot of callbacks to earlier Mission: Impossible movies. Some people have maligned this. I disagree. They're fun! Love to see more Henry Czerny! Love to see Rolf Saxon! Regrettably, there are no callbacks to Ethan Hunt's beautiful shirt from Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation.

However, we do have a big submarine sequence. It's approximately 20 minutes long with a largely ambient score and zero dialog, except for two words: torpedo. tubes. It's incredible. The lights flash, the submarine rolls around, Tom Cruise takes off his clothes, and the audience is enraptured.

We here at scottsblog dot bearblog will give 2 out 2 stars for Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning!
